FUNDamentals Program Information

  • Held on week days during school holidays
  • For boys & girls who attend primary school.
  • All 9am to 3pm each day.
  • Book individual days - as many as you like.
  • $85 per day
    Program Design
  • Programmed by Kory with a focus on teaching all the basics in a FUN manner.
  • Suitable for rank beginners through to regular players.
  • Children are in groups based on friendships, age, and ability.
    - Yes, we will group any children as requested by parents.
  • The days are broken down into playing blocks separated by drink-snack-rest breaks, and lunch.
  • A lot of fun football games plus games incorporating other activities that can be modified to a football game.
    - eg Football T-Ball where players kick a football instead of hitting a softball with a bat.
    Attending Camp Days
  • Think of what your child will take to school on a sports day, and that is what they need.
    - A bag with snacks, drinks (preferably a refillable bottle) , lunch, maybe a jumper.
    - We ask all children to wear a hat (we don't do any "heading" in our camps).
    - We recommend parents put a good sun screen on the child before the camp starts.
    - 5sports has a kiosk that sells snacks and drinks (but nothing healthy im afraid).
  • All children should wear comfortable clothes of your choice.
    - Football boots or joggers.
    - Shin pads are not compulsory, but if you have them we recommend using them.
  • Leave your soccer ball at home: we provide all the balls.
    Rainy Days
  • Our camps are held in ALL weather because :-
    - 5sports is all artificial grass and never washes out.
    - 5sports has a large club house where the children can sit during breaks for rain.
    - We can use the school basketball gym if the rain persists (so please make sure your child has joggers to put on if it looks like rain for the day).
    - We do NOT have children out in the rain getting soaked, but if its very light then we play it by ear.
    Parents watching
  • Parents are welcome at the camp as much as you like.
    - The kids love seeing someone watching them - especially at the end of the day - so please turn up by 2.40pm if you want to see some action.
